  1. How do I register for a course?
    Select the course you would like to register for. Then click on the button "Register Now." It will take you to the registration page where you will need to fill out all required information and choose the city and date of the course you would like to register for. When you submit the registration a representative from Wake Tech will contact you for course confirmation and payment.

  2. What happens if I need to cancel my class?
    You have 15 days to cancel your class prior to the date to receive a full refund.

  3. What happens if I do not show up to class?
    To successfully complete training and receive a Certificate of Completion from Wake Tech Community College, participants must attend a minimum of 80% of the full course delivery. Select third party certification courses require full attendance and successful completion of a credentialing exam. Failure to complete the training may have ramifications for participants using tuition assistance. Participants should consult their company's tuition assistance polices for more information.

  4. How is my refund received?
    If you cancel your registration prior to the 15 business days before the course start date; a refund is provided. If Wake Technical Community College cancels training; a refund is provided. Refunds are processed by check and sent to the address on file within a 30-day window of the cancellation request.

  5. What happens if I'm late to my class?
    If you know you are going to be late to your class, please contact your representative or call 919-295-6066 as soon as possible so that we can let the instructor know your status.

  6. What should I do if I have to leave the course early?
    Please let your instructor know that you will need to leave and when. Keep in mind that to successfully complete training, participants must attend a minimum of 80% of the full class delivery.

  7. What happens if I do not receive a confirmation after I purchase my class?
    After an enrollment request has been made and payment information provided, you will receive an email confirming your registration is complete. Two weeks prior to the start date of training, you will receive a final reminder and confirmation that the course will run.

  8. What should I expect when I register for Virtual Training Courses?
    You should expect the same confirmation emails as detailed above. Your equipment for the class is sent out to you at least one week prior to the class. You should sign up and run the test session the week prior to the week of your VCL course. One week before your class, you will receive your course invite for connectivity and testing information for the class. You should be prepared to receive your course materials prior to the class start at the location you plan to take the virtual learning. If you do not receive your books, equipment or email invite, please contact your representative as soon as possible.

  9. Will I have the chance to evaluate my class?
    Yes. The opportunity to rate the instructor and the training environment is provided at the end of every course.
